"Spirits of my Ancestors", was the first in my repurposed photo series. We had sorted through old family photos and having made our selections, shred some of the remaining for recycling.  Seeing them in a different light, I decided to collage the shredded pieces of vintage black-and-white photos into a work of art, giving them a new life.

To create the other works in the series, I cut colour photographs, some from my travels, into strips of varying lengths and widths.
